NFC North First Quarter Report Card

We are a 1/4 way through the season and many teams have not performed as planned. We have decided that reports cards should be sent out. Some fans will be happy to see how their teams stack up. Some would like to use the genius plan I gave a kid walking home with me in the first grade…hide it underneath a car tire where your Mom will never find it. Grades are determined by where they rank in the league in each category. Feel free to praise or scold teams in the comment section below. Check out the other divisions as well.

Offense
Points Per Game: B
Passing Yards: A
Rushing Yards: F

Defense
Points Allowed: B
Yards Per Game: D+

Comments: The Packers are following the influence of the big man on campus. He is setting very good marks for his career and if the rest of the team works up to his level they could go far.

The rest of the teams…

Offense
Points Per Game: A
Passing Yards: A
Rushing Yards: F

Defense
Points Allowed: F
Yards Per Game: F

Comments: The Lions appear to be putting all of their energy into certain areas as it is hurting the rest of their workload. They need to begin applying themselves in other areas.

Offense
Points Per Game: D+
Passing Yards: D-
Rushing Yards: B

Defense
Points Allowed: B+
Yards Per Game: F

Comments: The Vikings have done very well keeping others off the scoreboard and running the ball. If they don’t improve in other areas there could be fighting within the group.

Offense
Points Per Game: D
Passing Yards: D-
Rushing Yards: D-

Defense
Points Allowed: C-
Yards Per Game: C

Comments: Some papers from last year are being reviewed because there are concerns there may have been cheating. It was common knowledge that offense was cheating off the defense but now it appears the defense may not have done their own work either…cheated off special teams?
