AFC West First Quarter Report Card

We are a 1/4 way through the season and many teams have not performed as planned. We have decided that reports cards should be sent out. Some fans will be happy to see how their teams stack up. Some would like to use the genius plan I gave a kid walking home with me in the first grade…hide it underneath a car tire where your Mom will never find it. Grades are determined by where they rank in the league in each category. Feel free to praise or scold teams in the comment section below. Check out the other divisions as well.

Offense
Points Per Game: C
Passing Yards: C+
Rushing Yards: B+

Defense
Points Allowed: C-
Yards Per Game: A

Comments: The Broncos are doing well with their goals of running the ball and stopping the other kids from gaining too many yards. They have been performing average in other areas and need to apply themselves.

The rest of the teams…

Offense

Points Per Game: D+

Passing Yards: C

Rushing Yards: D+

Defense

Points Allowed: D

Yards Per Game: D-

Comments: The Chargers seem to be more concerned with appearance with their new clothes than performing for the new teacher. There has been a big drop in performance and we wonder if they have started using drugs.

Offense

Points Per Game: B

Passing Yards: F

Rushing Yards: A

Defense

Points Allowed: D+

Yards Per Game: C

Comments: Although their grade does not show it yet, the Raiders are going to bring up their passing yards grade. They are however not performing as expected on the defensive side of the ball.

Offense

Points Per Game: D-

Passing Yards: C

Rushing Yards: F

Defense

Points Allowed: B

Yards Per Game: B+

Comments: The Chiefs are usually very strong in Rushing class but have not performed well at all. Some think this may be attributed to the star student skipping class early on.
